Hounddog is filled with the usual tropes and stereotypes about the South, blacks, and poor people. The always annoying Dakota Fanning gets to stomp and parade and do her best showboat singing as though the film were written just for her precious grandstanding. If you like insipid, you'll love this. Rating: C
